Tallebudgera street lands a new record with the sale of a quirky barn house-style home

548 Trees Road, Tallebudgera.

The stunning acreage property at 548 Trees Rd, Tallebudgera, marketed by Scott Keatley has sold for $2.8 million. Designed by architect Michael Witty, the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home combines simple country style with luxury design and channels a barn house. The home has a glamorous fit out after the previous owners spent more than $100,000 on renovations including a contemporary kitchen.

“A couple from Melbourne who run an earth moving business bought 548 Trees Rd,” Scott has said.

“It is an unusual home, the walls don’t quite meet the ceilings, there are Japanese sliding doors and there is a quirky passage way in the home. The architecture is stunning but it doesn’t suit everyone.”

The sale has set a new residential record for the street, according to CoreLogic.

Scott has also sold no. 289 and no. 564-568 Trees Rd this month.
